Charlotte's Blessing

One Week Old

It has flown by and Charlotte is already a whole week old. She has gained back here hospital birth weight and she is doing great and is adored by her brothers and parents.

Charlotte's first Halloween

Charlotte came in time to be a "pea in a pod" for Halloween. She was not very scary, but she sure was cute.

Charlotte Comes Home!!!

After a short 24 hours in the hospital Charlotte came home to three very excited brothers and to two unexpectedly tired parents. After feeding her at midnight, Charlotte only got up two other times in the night and so we are almost there on that entire "sleeping through the night" thing....yeah right.

Happy Birthday

Charlotte Horrocks was born on October 26, 2006 in Carmel, Indiana. We started to try to bring her here on October 25, 2006, when Bec went in for an induction at 10 pm that night. Labor started later that night and 14 hours later, at 2:29 pm Charlotte literally came flying out.

Bec was amazing during the birth, and we had some great nurses too. In fact both shifts the nurses were name Krista and the nurse on the last shift actually delivered her since the doc was out in the hall talking to another doctor (Dr. Peas later delivered the placenta so she could get credit).

Bec only pushed for 3 minutes so when she came time to push, she was ready to go. Apcar scores were 9/10 and Mike finally got to cut the cord.
